Licensing and Other Regulatory Requirements

Switchboard Tranz regularly review licensing obligations and are fully licensed to operate the vehicles and cranes with staff appropriately licensed to include one or more of the following:

  • C class Queensland drivers licence
  • Heavy rigid Queensland truck drivers license
  • CV Vehicle Loading Crane (10 tonnes or more – National Standard operators ticket)
  • Certificate IV in Transport and Distribution
  • Blue Card – General Safety induction Course for Construction Industry

From 1 Jan 2006 all persons in the building and construction industry (worker, employers and sub-contractors) MUST complete a general induction training course. General Induction Training Course means the course 30215QLD which is a course in General Safety Induction and results in a “BLUE CARD”.
